It’s actually her home/apartment but she live in a separate area/room than us. She gave us welcome snacks and drinks in the fridge for free! • the mattress was sooooo comfortable. Best bedsheets in our stay in Italy. It’s so smooooth! • the aircon is very cold - we love this so much! • we felt like home. • 7 mins walk from Sorrento train station and bus stop that goes to Positano (bus only cost 2.40 euro each way) ALSO, if you ever get tired of pasta and want a little break from it (other cuisine), there is Thai restaurant nearby that was SO SO GOOD. It was 8-10mins walk. It’s called The Orange Tree Restaurant, price was good, food was amazing! ☹ • we thought it was a local boutique hotel but turned out it’s someone’s home.. So, no make up room services. (Our bad for not double checking • it was quiet far from Sorrento city centre, about 25 mins walk. There are a few restaurants around the accommodation, however it’s not the hustling bustling part of Sorrento. But taking buses around Sorrento is pretty straight forward and mostly only 2 euro!Pubblicato su BookingVerificata An excellent stay in a central location in Sorrento ☺ We stayed at BlueMagGi for a week (extended our stay direct via Giovanni), whilst visiting Sorrento for a family wedding. It was the perfect location for getting around Sorrento, approx a 10 minute walk to the main Piazzas and 5 minute walk to the train station. There is a great supermarket 5 minutes walk away to stock up the mini fridge with essentials, and a lovely café opposite BlueMaGi hotel. Giovanni and his wife were so welcoming and friendly, always available to answer any questions by WhatsApp before and during our stay. Giovanni made sure we had access to an iron and ironing board for our wedding outfits, which was so appreciated. The room was beautifully decorated and kept spotlessly clean by the lovely cleaner, an excellent size with a modern ensuite (excellent shower!), and an extremely comfy bed! We were gifted welcome treats including a small bottle of prosecco which was a lovely start to our stay. If you are sensitive to noise at night, then you may want to bring earplugs for sleeping as being this centrally located in Sorrento will mean you naturally hear some noise of the city until later in the evening. This was not an issue at all for us as we both sleep with earplugs anyway due to living next to a farm. Overall, this was the perfect accommodation for us and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again when back in Sorrento. It was very close to the station and five minute walk to the centre of Sorrento. ☹ The room was positioned on a busy main road and although there were shutters and double glazing you could hear the road noise inside the room which led to interrupted sleep at nighttime. There was also regular noise from the dog barking next door.
